On Wednesday, May 11 at 6:00pm, SFDUG welcomes David Baldacchino from HOK and Alexandra Bergin from Autodesk Enterprise Support. Both presentations will focus on using Dynamo to perform analytics on your Revit models.
This month's meeting is brought to you by the node "List.Map" by Jeremy Luebker. Be sure to bring your laptops to learn more after the presentations.
Educational Module: Clearance Testing with the Geometry.DoesIntersect Node.
Speaker: David Baldacchino, Firmwide Design Technology Manager, HOK @dourevit
Feature Presentation: Revit Performance Analytics in Dynamo
Speaker: Alexandra Bergin, Autodesk Enterprise Support
Alexandra will present a series of Dynamo Graphs which demonstrate different ways to extract useful Revit project data for performance analysis. Examples include: Parsing Revit Journal FIles, Identifying Revit Family Origin, Comparing Loaded vs Placed Families and Identifying + Counting Imported and LInked CAD files.
David Baldacchino is the Firmwide Design Technology Manager at HOK. He is the "Jack of all trades, master of none" poster child and occasionally dabbles in DYnamo to keep his brain muscles from rusting.
Alexandra Bergin works as a Premium Support Specialist for Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology at Autodesk in San Francisco, CA. Prior to joining Autodesk, she worked as the BIM Manager for Balfour Beatty Construction in San Francisco and as a member of the Interoperability Team at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where her research focused on data translation between architectural design authoring and building energy performance simulation tools.
